Many clouds has been dubbed as a likely winner for this weekend’s Grand National at Aintree. The nine year old is the 2015 Grand National winner. According to his own trainer, Oliver Sherwood, the brown gelding is on form for a consecutive win.
Those in the know have plenty to say as far as last year’s Grand National Champion, Many Clouds, is concerned. Even Top trainer, Harry Fry, is holding the steed in good stead as he anticipates a perfect outcome from the champion horse:
“I was very impressed with Many Clouds at Kelso. He has a lot of weight to carry but is the class horse in the race and he looked brilliant last time. For me it’s between him and Silviniaco Conti.”
Bryan Cooper has also had his say. The talented, professional Jockey is set to ride either First Lieutenant or Rule The World at the Grand National this week. He believes that Many Clouds has a good chance of beating any competition he comes up against. According to the Jockey, the Trevor Hemmings owned horse is ticking all the boxes. He has been running extremely well so far this season, and was on form when he won his prep race at Kelso.
Many Clouds is displaying a high standard. His running is as strong as it ever has been, and his jumping at Kelso last month was described as fluent by the press .Trainer, Oliver Sherwood, is very happy with how Many Clouds has performed, and pointed out that his preparations ahead of this week have gone very well:
“I’m the eternal pessimist and winning one National was a huge bonus, but his prep has gone great. He needs luck in running of course, but I couldn’t be happier with him and I was very impressed with his Kelso win.”
It’s not too late to be there and witness, what could be a sure win for Many Clouds at the Grand National. Get in touch to check the availability of our packages for this week’s meeting at Aintree!
