QPR take on Stoke – Predictions

This weekend in the Premier League holds yet, even more vital football matches for every club in the league. This weekend is a match in which relegation strugglers QPR have a high chance of winning and they definitely need to as they are a massive 10 points away from staying safe; this Saturday they play Stoke City. Bottom of the table Reading travel away to Norwich in a game which is considered to be a must win if they want the slightest chance of staying up. Man City visit Tottenham on Sunday whilst top of the league hope to triumph over Aston Villa to put them deeper in the relegation battle.

QPR host Stoke City this Saturday which could prove to be a vital game for both sides as the two of them have a rough road ahead. QPR are only on 24 points, but they have the lethal weapon that is Harry Redknapp. The former Tottenham boss is known around England to be one of the best managers in the game and so if anyone can get QPR out of trouble, he can inspire his players to do so.

Stoke are coming off the back of a very poor run of form, having only gained 5 points in 2013 so far with only 1 win, over bottom of the table Reading. Stoke are going to need to pick up their form as they have very quickly been dragged into the relegation fight due to losing so many matches of late. If the Potters do not stay in the Premier League, which is a likely possibility considering their form, they could lose plenty of players and lose their manager who has never been relegated before, Tony Pulis.

At the other end of the league, Manchester City have a tough match against Tottenham who are looking to overtake their local rivals Arsenal and qualify for the Champions League. However, Spurs have their main man and Welsh superstar Gareth Bale out injured for this crucial match against Man City giving the Sky Blues an advantage. Man City need to win every remaining game of the season to have any chance of retaining their Premier League title. They are now 13 points away from top of the league leaders Man United.
