One of the most exciting tournaments in Rugby Union, the RBS Six Nations 2015 is taking a break this weekend after we have been entertained for the past 2 weekends by Europe’s best international teams. This year’s tournament is the most important Six Nations for 4 years as it is the last time the international teams will competitively compete before the start of the Rugby World Cup 2015. This tournament will be treated as a preparation for the World Cup as the head coaches and back room staff will use this opportunity to find their best squad for the World Cup, which is being hosted by England.
England and the defending champions Ireland are both having great Six Nations campaigns so far in 2015 as they have both won their first two matches. Italy and Scotland are bottom of the table with 0 points after losing both their games, whilst Wales and France are sitting in fourth and third respectively, with one victory each. Next weekend will be an extremely interesting round of matches as Ireland host England, Wales travel to France and Scotland welcome Italy. All of the teams clashing next weekend are on the same points, guaranteeing each match to be extremely entertaining.
However, all eyes will be on the only Six Nations 2015 match on that Sunday, Ireland v England. That match is likely to decide who will win the RBS Six Nations as it is being called the biggest fixture of the tournament. Both teams are heavily on form and it is going to be tough to separate the two. England will be feeling confident going into the match after obliterating Italy in their previous match and defeating Wales the game before. Yet, Ireland will be full of just as much confidence, as they impressed against France in the previous match and are looking to retain their title for the time ever.
